Kohl's lays off 250 workers in restructuring plan

American retail chain Kohl's will lay off 250 staff following a disappointing holiday season. The company has introduced plans to restructure part of its business.

While Kohl's doesn't plan to shutter any shops, part of its job cuts will embrace removing a layer of regional retailer management roles. It'll restructure groups in its service provider organization to assist streamline communications and stop the overlap or roles.

Staff whose roles have been eradicated have been notified this week. Kohl's stated that it'll supply severance packages and outplacement providers to those laid off.
