Versace and Luxottica renew eyewear license
Versace and Luxottica Group have collectively announced the early renewal of an exclusive license agreement for the event, manufacturing and worldwide distribution of sun shades and prescription frames underneath the Versace model. The company stated in a press release that ten-year renewal is effective beginning April 1, 2020 and is scheduled to run out on December 31, 2029.
“Versace is delighted to resume and further develop its robust and profitable partnership with Luxottica. We sit up for the subsequent chapter of our relationship where we'll proceed to innovate within the eyewear category,” stated Jonathan Akeroyd, CEO of Versace.
“We are happy to renew our partnership with Versace, which marks the additional extension of a long-standing relationship between our two corporations courting again to 2003. Together we continue to create distinctive collections that categorical the marvel of Versace’s fashion via eyewear around the globe,” added Francesco Milleri, CEO of Luxottica.
