Neil Young Trashes President Trump as 'Disgrace' in Open Letter Also Supporting Bernie Sanders
Let there be no extra doubt — if ever there was — that Neil Young actually, really, really doesn't like President Donald Trump.
The legendary rock ‘n’ curler, who has not been shy about his anti-Trump feelings, spelled them out even further in a scathing open letter published on his website Tuesday.
In the identical letter, Young, 74, wrote that he was supporting Sen. Bernie Sanders towards Trump.
“You are a shame to my nation,” Younger began his letter earlier than assailing the president for, in Younger’s words, “mindless destruction of our shared natural assets, our surroundings and our relationships” as well as empty bravado and lying to the American voters.
“Our first black president was a greater man than you're,” Younger wrote, continuing: “The USA of America, my country, is just not a green on one among your branded golf courses which you could journey around on and injury in order that other gamers can't shoot straight.”
He also scolded Trump, 73, for using his 1989 music “Rockin’ within the Free World,” which soundtracked Trump’s entrance at his 2015 announcement that he was operating for president.
“Every time … one among my songs is performed at your rallies, I hope you hear my voice,” Younger wrote. “Keep in mind it is the voice of a tax-paying US citizen who does not help you. Me.”

Last month, Younger, who was born in Canada, turned an American citizen and stated he had registered to vote.
In his open letter to Trump he wrote, “We are going to vote you out and Make America Great Once more.”
Sanders, a Vermont unbiased who's a front-runner for the Democratic presidential nomination to face Trump in November, has Younger’s help. (Young also supported him in the 2016 main election towards Hillary Clinton.)
“He's really preventing for the USA,” the musician wrote in his open letter. “His initials are BS. Not his insurance policies.”

With the 2020 main underway and the presidential election some nine months away, increasingly more celebrities have been outspoken about their political beliefs and the candidates they prefer. President Trump has his defenders as properly, together with Jon Voight and Kanye West.
Trump, ever quick to snap at critics on social media, has twice tweeted about Younger prior to now.
